Dongdaemun-gu and Jong-gu at Crossroads
This is a view where Southward is Dongdaemun Station, Eastward is Jongnu 5-ga, Westward is Toegaero and Northward is going towards Myeongdong and Namdaemun!
One of the oldest zebra crossings of Seoul - I first saw it in 2002 .
This place will take you to Mongolian and Russian neighborhoods, hightest number of pharmacies are here and so is the shopping malls. Night market of Seoul starts from 8:00p.m to 5am every day. The main supplier of all the fashion apparel comes from here. Biggest wholesale market of Seoul is also this place!
The latest landmark - Dongdaemun Design Plaza aka DDP is also here.
Crammed printing presses and men - laboring hard, riding rickshaw-style three wheelers can also be seen here!
One of the oldest economic hubs for a common man since the Japanese rule!

The celebration continues with a wide array of Buddhist programs and activities, before ending with an impressive lantern parade in the heart of Seoul.

Spots of Avengers 2 Shooting: Gangnam Style
Traffic in Seoul's Gangnam area came to halt due to the filming of the sequel to the Hollywood box office hit "The Avengers", on Sunday. I saw it first from Gangnam Subway Station exit 7 t and then from exit 10. Huge number of security was there and one scene was shot for about 10 times and probably more but I left. Intersection close to Kyobo Tower was full of fans both Korean fans and foreigners.
I saw the actor Chris Evans talking to the director , right across from exit 10. Photos later.

Junior High School Students inside the Lahore Fort
These boys from a neighboring school near Lahore Fort helped me go to Jahanir's Maqbara in Shahdara, the year was 2009.
Very sweet and extremely helpful!
They told me that they are at a stage in life where they need guidance and that's something there teachers hesitate to talk about! Only one of the boys had a computer and internet facility. I sent this photo to the guy on extreme right but I never heard from him, the email he gave me was his sisters' - which isn't an issue but anyways!
Thanks you all for extending help and sharing your thoughts and a quick chit, chat!
There uniform is different from uniforms in Islamabad - what we lack in Pakistan is uniformity. :-)

튀김 (Ttuikim) Drizzled with Tteokpoki Sauce (Halal Korean Snacks)
.....This dish called Ttuikim is very similar to Pakistani dish "Pakoras" which is a combination of pan-fried vegetables or squid dipped in flour batter as seen in the picture below. It is a halal dish found in every nook and corner of Korea, mostly being sold at the make-shift carts/stalls or by a chain of restaurants called JAWS.
One Ttukim is 500 won and 5 are enough for one serving costing 2500 won or 2.3USD - just 2$.
